I purchased a round accent wood table in June of 2011. In Jan of 2018 I saw that there was a split in this table.

When I contacted the local store , I was told “ it is out of warranty “. I then called corporate, explaining that said table, sat alone unused. No one ate, colored,drank, computed or anything on it. It simply sat there to look pretty.

I had a glass cover made to protect it and was told “that was the problem. I have a dining room table that had glass on it. Purchased in the1980,s ( not Ethan Allen) no problem! The best they could do is split the cost of a new top and installation,which would cost close to $300.

This is unacceptable. I have what the would call “lesser quality” furniture which I will not name which has been beautiful for the last thirty years.

As I have told Ethan Allen, I felt the table is defective. I will not purchase from them again.

Preferred solution: Price reduction.

I didn't like: Lack of accountability.
