I should have checked Internet before walking in Ethan Allen Houston westheimer store - bad experience. The designer/saleswoman are dishonest, hid things like return policy, give you wrong impression.

Their Designers are exactly like saleswoman, very commission oriented, don't care about customer satisfaction. Their furnitures are very expensive, no warrantee, take long time to deliver, charge high restocking fee (20~35%) for return/exchange.

You are better off to go to stores like star furniture and work with their interior designers. I was hoping to buy more beauty with more money from Ethan Allen, but Ethan Allen only charges a higher price, not a better value.

Reason of review: Dishonesty.

Monetary Loss: $2000.

Ethan Allen Cons: Dishonest saleswoman.

Annonymous Judging from your comment you work for EA. I had same experience.

Poor service, *** finish on wood products, if you return something because the designer did not measure your furniture/room correctly you pay 30% restocking fee. If you don't like your damaged finish too bad.

After 30k and nothing but problems I will never shop there again. Owner does not care at all if your furniture is damaged and even states to me it is not damaged.

Judging by how poorly written your review is, I would say you probably just didn't understand or listen to what the designer explained to you about your purchase. Ethan Allen does have a warranty, better than most manufactures. It is very sad that you are calling your designer "dishonest" when in reality, there is clearly a language barrier here....
