Non-existent customer service at Ethan Allen
Mar 4, 2008
Ethan Allen complaint
If you purchase Ethan Allen furniture, beware. The quality has gone downhill and the price, uphill. I just received a $4,000+ couch that creaks. Worse, to get it repaired, I have to use their "customer service" department where service is not the operative word. Gone is the ability to go to your salesperson to run interference and take care of the problem as had been the case when I had purchased several pieces of furniture a few years ago. Instead, a customer now has to deal with what Ethan Allen calls their "customer service" department. The woman I have to deal with has no idea what customer service means and when told that I would warn people about Ethan Allen on the internet, didn't care! Any thoughts of purchasing the additional piece of furniture I was considering are no longer in my thoughts. I just can't deal with their lack of service and attention to problems.
