| 1. Written by Hank Parker - San Jose on August 7, 2009 I waited over 8 weeks for a rug that was alreay at the wherehouse. They are soo cheap that they would not send the rug out via UPS or Fed Ex - but they made me wait 8 weeks until they have a Truck" completely full before they sent it. Once I got the rug - which was expensive - Over $3000 for a rug made in China - the wool was pulling up in several locations - and along the side of the rug. They took it back to the warehouse and a week later I am still waiting for an answer as too what they are going to do for me. I told them I do not want a store credit - because I have had nothing but negative experiences with that store. An 8 week delivery is only the beginning. Be very careful if you do business with Ethan Allen - shop very carfully - and do not rush your decisions. |

To me, 1 month is a little rediculous, but since it is custom order, I'll forgive it. 4 months is absolutely absured. Miss Mandeville, maybe, just maybe, if you and your company took a proactive stance to this problem you'd not find yourself answering to a pissed off customer on an internet review site. Also, does Ethan Allen commonly employ people to defend their company on review sites or are you doing this out of the kindness of your heart for the company? I'm banking on the former and not the latter. |
