My wife purchased an Al Fresco all weather carpet from Ethan Allen. Online I found the exact same carpet for half of what we paid. Five days after it was ordered, it went to see if I could cancel the deal or renegotiate the price. They wanted a 30% restocking fee to do so and would not renegotiate the price.

It's a live and learn situation, but I won't ever do business with them again. We knew they were a little higher priced, but this was ridiculous. So, if this was any indication of their pricing, we'll be shopping elsewhere from now on and suggest you do the same.

i am so elated that i read the post before i actually purchased any funiture i am redoing my whole house and been searching for furniture at various stores . Now i know not to even venture on this site
